Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer – Jacobs

Experience designing HVAC systems for heavy industrial facilities. Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to deliver high-quality construction design packages.

United States – Any U.S. location. Preferred candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office.

• Layout, design, and sizing of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
• Prepare final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to meet client needs and project schedule.

• At least 10 years’ experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

• Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
• Design experience for plumbing/utility systems.
