Senior Physician Liaison | RIA Endovascular

Reports to Director of Marketing and Sales

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.

Summary

Of Position

The Senior Physician Liaison is a key member of the Radiology Imaging Associates Marketing Team. This position is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and managing all sales efforts for an assigned territory or business segment of the RIA Endovascular Clinic, RIA Office-Based Lab (OBL), and the RIA Vein Center.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports company growth and revenue objectives by meeting or exceeding volume and revenue goals in the RIA Interventional Radiology segments
  • Understands market drivers and utilizes fact-based selling to increase awareness, consideration, and preference for RIA Endovascular Clinic, RIA Office-Based Lab (OBL), and the RIA Vein Center, as the preferred interventional provider
  • Understands and can communicate all RIA services and benefits to referring physicians and prospective patients, including RIA technology, tools, and solutions
  • Meets face-to-face with referring physicians and their staff to understand their needs and develop strategies to increase referrals. Performs sales duties by meeting with referring physicians in the field up to 50% (2 business days) of the time, unless requested to do a specific internal project/task, or to attend a team or practice meeting
  • Utilizes current marketing materials and identifies opportunities for new communication tools, including current web and online resources
  • Maintains contemporaneous notes within company-provided customer management system (CRM) pertaining to visits and communications with referring physician offices
  • Utilizes Customer Relationship Management tool to record account calls, status, next steps, budget expenditures, and other pertinent information about the physicians and their practices
  • Collaborate with the ISJ Marketing Team and marketing service providers in development and refresh of strategically focused print collateral, online website resources, social media channel content, patient directed testimonials, and patient facing advertising communication, events, and sponsor ships
  • Develops and executes social media and website content in conjunction with internal and external partners
  • Assists Physician Relations Liaison(s) as needed with key accounts
  • Coordinates top priorities/goals with Director of Sales for RIA/ISJ
  • Meets expectations set by Director of Sales for RIA/ISJ
  • Leads and directs Physician Liaison team
  • Other various duties as assigned
Experience And Skill Requirements
  • Clinical experience or experience working with physicians strongly preferred
  • Prior field sales and customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for managing assigned sales territory with strong sense of ownership for actions and outcomes
  • Sound business and customer-service oriented decision-making skills and demonstrated ability to exercise and maintain high standards of business judgement and personal conduct
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and employees
  • Ability to develop, write, and implement strategic sales plans
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Goal oriented and focused on high quality results
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Requires a valid Colorado driver's license and acceptable driving record. Company will run a motor vehicle record (MVR) annually
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Base salary for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000. This position is eligible for bonus.
