Position Summary
The Brokerage Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to the brokerage team by efficiently handling day-to-day operational tasks. The role contributes to the seamless functioning of daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and facilitates effective communication within the brokerage team. They work closely with brokers to ensure timely transaction completion through paperwork processing and coordination with other departments.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in executing and coordinating day-to-day brokerage operations and support the implementation and improvement of operational procedures.
- Coordinate with brokers to prepare documents, cover letters, etc. for market renewal business and provide necessary administrative support in filing, printing, and archiving.
- Administer and update new and existing client information in all required systems accurately.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client accounts, transactions, and other documentation, ensuring compliance with record‑keeping regulations.
- Perform customer service functions by answering broker requests and questions via telephone, email, chat, or in person.
- Contribute to the preparation of compliance reports related to brokerage operations and collaborate across broker and finance teams on business requirements.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies and assist in preparing compliance reports.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating operational risks and collaborate with risk management teams to implement controls.
- Support the brokerage team with any ad hoc tasks and requests.

- Bachelor’s degree required;
Business Administration, Sales, and Risk Management preferred. Other related disciplines or commensurate work experience considered. - Prescribed minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses.
