Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Own key areas of the month-end close, including complex reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and supporting analyses
• Serve as a point person for audit support and technical accounting questions
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting as the company scales
• Partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support decision-making
• Mentor and support junior accounting team members

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting foundation and close process ownership
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in evolving environments
• Proactive mindset with strong communication and leadership instincts
