Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations
• Support audit and compliance activities by preparing schedules and documentation
• Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve processes and reporting
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the company scales

Staff Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail with a solid debits-and-credits foundation
• Comfortable in Excel and eager to learn new systems
• Coachable, curious, and motivated to grow into a larger role over time
