An innovative financial technology company is looking to bring on a Senior Staff Accountant to support its accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure they meet accuracy and compliance standards. You will also manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additionally, you will oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient invoicing, collections, and payments to support a healthy cash flow.

- Managing the month-end close process, including journal entries and reporting
- Perform daily reconciliations that include cash and journal entries, transactions, and accounts receivables and ensure they are correctly assigned in the system
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and payments to maintain healthy cash flow
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Review and process expense reimbursements, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and policy compliance
- Collaborate with the Manager of Accounting and Finance to create and implement new automations for efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Ability to work in office from 7 AM to 3:30 PM to accommodate international clients
- Positive attitude with a willingness to bring ideas to the table
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn
- Target Compensation $80K - $95K + bonus + equity – monthly distributions
