This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and contribute to sales volume growth; resolve customer questions and concerns in The Winston Way
  • Using a consultative and collaborative approach, create custom presentations for corporate and residential clients during telephone and in‑person sales calls in the Greenwich area
  • Foster existing client relationships and drive sales by building new relationships through networking and representing Winston Flowers at industry events
  • Maintain a strong presence on showroom floor and lead team by example to maximize sales through mentorship and personal example, promoting a productive and cohesive work environment that provides an exemplary client experience
  • Respond to high‑level client inquiries as required and execute the sales process from inquiry to sale—proposals, meetings, contracts, and agreements in all market segments, effectively and confidently negotiate and close sales
  • Identify new business opportunities focused on designated markets and generate leads that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
Candidate Attributes
  • Previous service and/or account management experience is required, preferably in luxury retail or hospitality‑related industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and self‑motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve established goals and deliver on high expectations with exceptional follow‑through skills; utilizes a consultative approach to build rapport and present key selling points while focusing on client needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously and resolve issues independently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
Requirements
  • Flexible work schedule required, including weekend and holiday availability
  • Peak business periods will require extended work days and work weeks
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
