WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment at a prestigious medical group in Greenwich, Connecticut. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in Haitian Creole, are highly preferred! Job Function:
Day Shift. 8:45AM - 5PM. Plans and manages patient care according to each patients needs. Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition. Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Assists physicians and registered nurses;
Prepares specimens for lab courier. Provides wound care;
Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas;
Monitors catheters.
