Level 1 IT Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Level 1 IT Technician with a minimum of two years of hands‑on experience in IT support roles for a full‑time, on‑site position in Manchester, CT. This individual will provide advanced troubleshooting and support for end‑user systems, Microsoft environments, basic networking, and infrastructure technologies within a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

• Respond to and resolve Level 1 support tickets related to desktops, laptops, printers, software, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and support Windows desktop environments (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, SharePoint).
• Support basic Windows Server functions, including user and group management, shared drives, and print services.
• Provide professional and courteous support to all end users, including VIP staff.

• Minimum 2 years of Level 1 IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or multi‑client environment.
• Experience using ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now, Connect Wise, HaloPSA) and RMM tools.
• Proficient in Windows desktop environments (Windows 10/11).
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive).
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), switching, and wireless technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide customer‑centric support.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting work.

• Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS/Android) and MDM tools (Intune).
• Familiarity with AV and conference room tech (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms).
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and contribute to process improvement.
• Previous exposure to small infrastructure projects, migrations, or system upgrades.
• Industry certifications.
