Ultrasound Technologist - Full Time Evenings (Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM‑10:45 PM)
Smilow Cancer Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to provide high‑quality imaging services during evening shifts.

Responsibilities- Perform quality and efficient ultrasound exams to assist with patient diagnostic work‑ups.
- Follow routine protocols or physician‑specific prescriptions; minimize repeat examinations as observed by the manager, supervisor, or physician.
- Provide accurate, compassionate patient care to ensure service excellence, patient cooperation, safety, and satisfaction.
- Identify patients and exams accurately in accordance with departmental policy.
- Execute record‑keeping tasks, including accurate medical record documentation, exam scheduling, completion, and document scanning using RIS systems (Imagecast, VIP, Synapse, Syngo Dynamics, Event Reporting).
- Participate in learning opportunities and assist in training others; seek professional development through seminars, courses, certifications, and professional societies.
- Follow safety precautions and equipment operating procedures to maintain a safe environment and minimize injury risk.
- Adhere to YNHHS Standards of Professional Behavior in all patient and employee interactions, including respectful communication and appropriate conduct.
- Education: High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Demonstrated technical skills meeting entry‑level routine sonography standards.
- Licensure: Active, current ARDMS certification; within six months of hire, complete abdominal certification. CPR certification (preferred) and OB certification (desirable) are also preferred.

Skills:
Proficient in routine ultrasound imaging techniques, above‑average knowledge of PACS/computer applications, and strong organizational and communication/customer‑service skills. - Physical Demand: Able to lift patients (patient transfers) and push portable ultrasound equipment up to 40 lb.
