SPES is seeking an Investment Analyst / Associate to join its investment team in a highly visible, hands‑on role. You will gain broad exposure across the private equity investment lifecycle, including fund investments, co-investments, and secondaries.

You’ll work closely with senior investment professionals in a non‑hierarchical, collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship, open dialogue, and professional development—ideal for early‑career professionals building a foundation in private markets investing.

• Analyze and monitor private equity fund managers and underlying portfolio companies
• Support due diligence for fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions
• Prepare historical and projected financial analyses
• Develop investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee
• Assist with portfolio valuation, monitoring, and performance attribution
• Maintain internal investment and portfolio databases
• Support analytical projects related to portfolio construction, strategy, and industry trends
• Prepare client reporting materials and participate in manager meetings
• Support fundraising related activities including preparing presentations, case studies and market commentary

• 1–2 years of relevant full‑time experience in investing, finance, consulting, accounting, engineering, or a related analytical role
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills
• Interest in private equity, valuation, and financial analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; collaborative mindset

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or another analytical discipline
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent academic achievement)
• Pre‑MBA candidates only
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA is a plus

Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)

Discretionary annual bonus of 25-35%
