Investor Accounting Analyst

Job Description

The Investor Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing basic reconciliation projects, reviewing various investor reports, schedules, and reports related to the servicing of loans. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay for this position is $38.00 - $42.00 an hour.

• Reconcile actual/actual, scheduled/actual and scheduled/scheduled investor principal and interest and taxes and insurance bank accounts, ensuring that the 30-day deadline required by Regulation AB is met.
• Research and provide resolution of reconciling items within 90 days, as required by Regulation AB.
• Analyze remittance differences between investor accounting reports, the loan servicing system and remittance reports to maintain appropriate cash in custodial accounts.
• Validate data coming from other departments and work with those departments to resolve any discrepancies, e.g., modification reports and liquidation reports.
• Support other team members as needed to meet deadlines for reporting.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required;
  Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of related experience, including investor accounting and/or reporting, required.
