Our client, a global brokerage firm is looking for a Tax Accountant to join its expanding tax team. This role offers an experienced, hands-on tax professional the chance to contribute in a dynamic environment while collaborating closely with senior tax leaders.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review US state and local tax returns, with a focus on partnership filings (Form 1065)
- Manage SALT compliance calendars and ensure timely, accurate filings
- Conduct technical SALT research and monitor legislative developments
- Support state and local tax audits and respond to tax authority notices
- Assist with nexus determinations and apportionment analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to support accurate reporting and drive process improvements
- 4+ years of experience in tax
- Degree in Accounting, Finance and or Tax
- Prior SALT experience for both partnership and corporate structures is a plus
- Excellent Excel Operating knowledge
- CPA certification is a plus
- Big Four background is a plus
