Overview

  • Collaborate with a leading investment management firm specializing in private credit strategies and structured products.
  • Lead the valuation process for a complex portfolio of CLO debt and equity investments.
  • Drive process improvements and scalability within a data-intensive environment.
  • Work closely with technology and analytics teams to enhance valuation infrastructure.
  • Prepare materials for the Valuation Committee and perform ad hoc analyses.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to refine methodologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with valuation vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and integrity-driven organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Design, implement, and manage a daily CLO valuation review process.
  • Validate and challenge third-party pricing for structured products.
  • Critically assess valuation outcomes and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Automate workflows and improve valuation infrastructure.
  • Establish robust controls to ensure valuation accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with Risk Management for P&L analysis and portfolio risk attribution.
  • Monitor market trends and refine valuation methodologies.
  • Prepare materials for committees and perform ad hoc analyses.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of valuation experience, preferably in buyside or third-party valuation firms.
  • Deep understanding of CLO, ABS, and structured product valuation methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel and Intex proficiency; experience with large data sets.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages preferred.
  • Ability to streamline and automate valuation processes effectively.
  • Familiarity with valuation guidelines, GAAP, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex analyses.
