Senior Accountant​/Controller

Our client, an advisory firm in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on corporate accounting role focused on management company accounting, financial reporting, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management company accounting, experience in fast-paced environments, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities Include:

• Execute day-to-day corporate accounting operations, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables
• Partner with internal teams on ad hoc projects and process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services
• Strong management company / corporate accounting background
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail
