SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

We’re recruiting a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 child in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Greenwich. The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1)
You will work closely with a Year 4 child with additional learning needs, providing personalised support to help them access the curriculum and engage positively in all aspects of school life. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting both learning and emotional development.
Role Requirements – Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)
* Be confident in delivering 1:1 support within a classroom setting
* Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and SENCOs to ensure consistent progress
* Hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
