Daily Rate: £90 – £115 (depending on experience)

A reputable College Provision in the London Borough of Greenwich is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role supporting learners at Key Stage 5, running until July 2026.

The Role

As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with post-16 learners across a range of courses including BTEC, T Levels, GCSEs and/or A Levels. You will provide tailored, individualised support to help students access the curriculum, develop independence, and achieve their academic potential.

Support will be delivered both 1:1 and in small group settings, within a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide in-class support to KS5 learners across a variety of subjects

* Offer targeted 1:1 and small group support

* Encourage engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours

* Build strong, trusting relationships with learners

* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider support teams

* Promote inclusion and support students with a range of additional learning needs

* Has previous experience working in a school or college setting

* Is confident supporting post-16 / KS5 learners

* Demonstrates empathy, patience, and resilience

* Can motivate and encourage learners to reach their full potential

* Builds strong rapport and acts as a positive role model

* Is reliable, proactive, and committed to student success
