Description
The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with a leader to set the restaurant’s goals and develops plans to achieve them. The GM leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, monitor progress, provide coaching and direction, and improve departmental performance.
The GM may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.
Requirements
- Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
- Background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail strongly desired.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
