• A Maintenance Mechanic who can perform maintenance on all plant mechanical equipment and systems following safety, health, and environmental policies.
• Tasks include mechanical repairs, rotating equipment rebuilds, piping fabrication and installation, and preventative maintenance rounds.
• Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• The HSE Statement is to prioritize health, safety, security, and environmental protection in all activities within Syensqo Composites.

• This position is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the facility and production equipment, keeping them in proper working order in accordance with manufacturers’ operation manuals, engineering drawings, and SOPs.
• Can perform routine maintenance tasks with limited supervision in a safe manner.

• 5 years+ electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and general controls knowledge.
• Electronic controls experience including PLC, AC/DC drive programming, motor controls and repairs, operator interface programming, and other newer technology troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of systematically troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns, solving problems, offering solutions, and performing necessary repairs.
• Reliable, honest, and self‑motivated.
• High school/GED or 2‑year Technical Certificate in a maintenance related craft.
• Base electrical skills or better; troubleshooting skills for pneumatic controls is a must.
• Basic hydraulic skills; ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment and the facility.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team environment.
• Ability to pass the Ramsey Multi‑Craft Test.
• Not on final warning for attendance.

• U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $31.48 per hour. Total compensation may include a bonus and/or other incentives.

• Working conditions:
  
  fast‑paced production environment, rotating weekend on‑call.
• PHYSICAL: requires good physical condition and manual dexterity; lifting up to 55 pounds, continual standing; ability to climb and safely work from ladders; passing work steps for maintenance.
• Vacancy awarded to the individual with the required skills and qualifications, the most senior department seniority, and who has passed the Maintenance Multi‑Craft test. Once awarded, the individual is obligated to the awarded job.
