Delivers Behavioral Health services to include Mental Health (MH) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services to an assigned caseload in a clinical setting. Provides Adolescent SUD and Counseling services to child and adolescent clients in all levels of care that meet diagnostic eligibility requirements. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams (prescriber, case manager, community resource contacts). Performs assessments, manages caseloads, reviews, creates and oversees recovery plans while demonstrating multicultural sensitivity and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities- Completing assessments and diagnosis
- Recovery planning
- Liaison with other clinical service providers
- Provision of treatment
- Crisis services during regular business hours
- Documentation of client progress
- Provide Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) on a limited basis
- Willingness to be flexible, resourceful, and creative in problem solving
- Ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely to keep individuals, prescribers, team members, and family members informed of clinical issues
- Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record and required personal automobile liability insurance
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and DSM V; working computer skills (MS Word) and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with Child and Adolescent Substance Use Disorder preferred
Salary: $24.00 - $32.31 per hour
Schedule:
M-Th 9 AM - 6 PM
