Our client is in need of a Accounting Analyst. The position will report to the Controller and will have a variety of duties, but will fundamentally focus upon the production and generation of the periodic financial statements and analytical reports.
Job Responsibilities for the Accounting Analyst position:- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Review and prepare financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Handle monthly and annual inventory reconciliation
- Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years full-cycle, general accounting/finance experience
- Prior ERP experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
