Harris Technologies is seeking a senior-level engineer to design, develop, and integrate ELINT systems on the RC‑135 platform. This on‑site role is located in Greenville, TX and requires a 1st‑shift 9/80 schedule.
Security Clearance
:
Actively holding a DOD Secret clearance; eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) is required.
- Support the performance, verification, and sustainment of ELINT systems and components.
- Participate in formal engineering analysis and review performance parameters at the system and component levels.
- Design, develop, and release engineering documents, data‑management tools, and reporting software.
- Prepare and present technical briefs to program management and customers.
- Maintain DOD Secret clearance and eligibility for a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline and minimum 9 years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 7 years of experience; or 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience troubleshooting RC‑135 mission systems.
- Software coding and development experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and software requirements tools such as DOORS or JIRA.
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, charts, reports, test plans, and procedures.
- Experience with Unix/Linux command line and networking technologies.
- Knowledge of electronic warfare concepts and RC‑135 communication systems.
