Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten Aide to join our team at Crockett Elementary School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for our students, and the ability to work collaboratively with our teaching staff.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.

Provide support in managing classroom activities and ensuring a safe and clean environment for the students.

Assist in monitoring students during non-classroom times including meals, recess, and nap times.

Help in preparing classroom materials and setting up educational activities.

Collaborate with the lead teacher in observing, recording, and assessing each student's growth and development.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress.

Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene guidelines.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Patience and a positive attitude towards working with young children.

Ability to handle classroom and student-related challenges with sensitivity and professionalism.

Certifications:

While not mandatory, certifications in early childhood education, child development, or a related field will be highly regarded. First aid certification is also a plus.
