Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bilingual Classroom Teacher to join our district-wide team at Greenville ISD. This is a pool position, offering the opportunity to work across various schools within our district, providing a diverse and enriching experience.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to district curriculum and state standards.

Provide instruction in both English and a second language, fostering a bilingual learning environment.

Evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning.

Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on educational trends and advancements.

Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment.

Skills:

Excellent bilingual communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong understanding of curriculum and instruction design.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different student needs.

Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Certifications:

Candidates must hold a valid teaching certification. Additional certifications or endorsements in bilingual education are highly desirable.
