Position:
Order Selector

Efficiently, accurately, and safely build orders utilizing a walkie ride-on pallet jack and a voice picking system.

• Hand build orders for large and small format delivery routes with strict attention to accuracy using the voice pick system and ride-on pallet jack.
• Wrap pallet in shrink wrap to ensure stability and attach all necessary paperwork.
• Load and unload products from trucks, ensuring that product is handled with care to avoid damage.
• Restock returned products in their designated locations in the picking area.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that the warehouse is free from hazards and clutter.
• Perform all check-in and check-out duties assigned and maintain proper records (pick tickets) for each individual task according to warehouse standard operating procedures.
• Perform all required safety and pre-trip checks.
• Operate a ride-on pallet jack in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a ride-on pallet jack.
• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Must possess thorough understanding of warehouse process and procedures.
• Basic understanding of materials management.

• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic technology skills.

• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the essential elements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to hear, talk, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to use hands and arms in handling, positioning, moving, and stacking materials.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling products.
• Must be able to climb onto and off of pallet jack throughout the shift (8-10 hours).
• Walking, standing, bending, stooping and lifting are constant during the work shift.
