OVERVIEW
The B2B Territory Sales Representative will be have the opportunity to be on the road in the Greenville area, dropping in on companies to build relationships for new customer sales, and will also work to renew existing accounts, plus facilitate growth with existing clients. This is a hunter-oriented outside sales position, where the sales representative will get to prospect and close sales by dropping in on companies, setting up appointments, and maintaining accounts as their book of business grows.
This position has a base salary plus a commission on top of that (and benefits), and this person can work remotely from the area as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- In-person prospecting for all new customers and retention of existing customers within the Greenville area (20-30 drops per day, including some inherited accounts)
- Cold calling, prospecting, networking and account management
- Develop and maintain positive community relations through involvement in networking organizations, business groups, and more
- Report and submit monthly sales results
- Prepare and deliver presentations for prospective and existing clients
- Support and respond to all customer retention activities or concerns
- Support management with marketing and sales plans/strategies
- Work closely with inside sales team to ensure account management is handled for active accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years minimum in outside sales
- Located in the Greenville area and able to drop-in on prospective clients daily
- Comfortable doing 30 hours a week from the road (day time travel only in the Greenville or upstate area--not Spartanburg)
- Contracted service industry related sales preferred
- Valid Drivers License
PAY/BENEFITS
- Up to $60k base
- Commission with 1st year OTE up to a conservative estimate of $90k
- 2nd year+ OTE up to ~$150k/year
