Position Summary
:
The Sales Associate supports and assists sales objectives within the assigned territory. They establish, build, and maintain customer relationships through constant communication, handling case coverage while serving as the backup contact for Territory Sales Reps. This role provides a wide variety of field sales support and develops toward becoming a Sales Representative, with the primary responsibility of maintaining expert knowledge of Sports Medicine products.

Responsibilities
:
- Represent Cross Link/Stryker as a leader in the industry, engaging surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships and supporting Territory Sales Reps.
- Perform field calls for the account and assigned territory, including on‑call and operating room consultation.
- Develop technical, clinical, and sales competencies through field training and self‑driven learning to qualify for a Sales Representative role within 18‑24 months.
- Coordinate logistics for ordering, transporting, setting up, and reassembling surgical instrument sets at hospitals and surgery centers.
- Act as a product support consultant during surgeries, ensuring safe proper use of Stryker products and techniques.
- Support revenue growth in assigned territories through delegated business development with surgeons, hospitals, and staff.
- Cross‑sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
- Support compliance and Adva Med principles by protecting privacy, assets, and acting with ethics and integrity.
- Maintain ongoing training in sales, product features, and critical business applications.
- Work extended and off‑normal hours with flexibility.
- Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required.
Qualifications
:
- BS/BA in a relevant field preferred or 2+ years equivalent sales experience.
- 1‑2 years demonstrated successful sales experience in the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of marketing strategy, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office and related office technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
- Comfortable working in emergency/operating room environments.
- Adherence to compliance and Adva Med principles, maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and acting with ethics.
