- Accomplish sales, closing, and customer service goals as determined by your Sales Leader.
- Train and develop under peers and leadership to become a Sales Counselor.
- Prospect for opportunities to influence agents and brokers within your assigned DSA to prioritize Meritage Homes listings.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new real estate agents and recalcitrant buyers.
- Utilize CRM to manage prospecting, sales, and communication efforts.
- Connect unrepresented home buyers to real estate agents and foster the partnership through the home buying process.
- Ensure overall appearance of homes, listings, and communities within your DSA are pristine for agents and buyers.
- Leverage Meritage taught sales techniques to maximize sales performance.
- Utilize strong social media skills to promote and sell Meritage listings.
- Engage visitors and demonstrate models, amenities, and showings as needed.
- Staff models or listings as required by the sales leader.
- Strategically utilize listing information and marketing collateral for showings.
- Regularly visit agents and offices to promote MAS, agent programs, and available listings.
- Promote and host open house events for completed Meritage Homes listings.
- Present the Meritage Homes Purchase Agreement to buyers with full disclosure.
- Ensure accurate completion of buyer paperwork and internal reporting.
- Assist buyers with scheduling appointments with operations managers, mortgage, and title companies.
- Facilitate communication between MTH Mortgage and the buyer’s agent to expedite mortgage processing.
- Demonstrate strong command of key details for all communities and listings within a DSA.
- Maintain knowledge of local market statistics, laws, and trends.
- Update agents and buyers throughout the entire purchase process.
- Maintain customer satisfaction from initial visit to closing.
- ACTIVE South Carolina Real Estate License required.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of proven success in commissioned sales.
- Computer proficient and understanding financial principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prospect, build relationships, and develop marketing strategies.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
