Store Counter Sales / The Tool Shed

• Greeting customers and helping them find the right tool for their job.
• Answering the phone and helping with customer phone inquiries.
• Writing up orders and processing payments.
• Expediting special orders and backorders.
• Assisting with the daily operations and upkeep of the business (counter, showroom, warehouse).
• Restocking the showroom when new merchandise arrives.
• Resetting, cleaning, and general maintenance of the showroom displays (pricing, display tool assembly, etc.).
• Promoting The Tool Shed Brand of excellent customer service by always presenting yourself in a professional manner.

• Friendly personality who enjoys working with, learning about, and talking about tools.
• Great verbal communication skills and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school or equivalent education.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of tools and their uses.
• Be familiar with computer basics.
• Woodworking or trades experience and a knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
