Retail Store Team Leader (Full-Time) – Greenville, SC
Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a full-time Team Leader and be a role model as you provide a brand experience for our customers. This full‑time Team Leader will provide training to enhance the team's ability to exceed our high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and sales.
Core Responsibilities- Assists the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling
- Effectively supervises Sales Associates during the shift, dealing with potential issues appropriately and in line with LEGO policies and procedures, with the ASM and SM’s support
- Completes orders for store and office supplies in line with guidelines and operating budgets
- Ensures money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates
- Ensures a well‑organised stockroom is maintained at all times and that all available products are merchandised on the shop floor and loss‑prevention targets are achieved
- Assists the ASM and SM in achieving a high standard of merchandise presentation following store guidelines
- Maximises profitable sales by regular review of sales and margin information
- Assists in ensuring that appropriate and effective space‑management techniques are utilised
- Ensures that the store graphics system (including pricing) is maintained effectively, with a focus on customer service and maximising profitable sales
- Ensures that all fixtures are always replenished
- Evaluates and communicates on competitor visual merchandising techniques, identifying opportunities to develop our business further
- Trains Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines
- Motivates and develops a high‑performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Delivery of employee training
- Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing experience
- Experience with point‑of‑sale automated systems
- Experience with merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising
- Physical specifications: constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours; may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders; vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus; involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
- Must have full availability to work 40 hours per week
The hourly wage for the position ranges from $20.11 to $21.51 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organisational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors including prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. Comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
