Position: Merchandiser Travel Retail Service

Overview

Merchandiser Travel Retail Service is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively working in teams to perform reset and remodel work, including reading and implementing plan‑ograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. Must be a self‑starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and follow plan‑ograms to complete reset and remodel work.
  • Move and clean shelves, install new racks and shelves, display merchandise properly, and process pack‑outs, restocks and reorders.
  • Partner with store personnel to achieve merchandising excellence and build effective working relationships.
  • Prepare, process, submit, manage documentation related to reset and remodel work.
  • Perform job safely, demonstrate full awareness of surroundings, use proper safety techniques and equipment, and alert management to unsafe conditions.
  • Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 1‑year experience reading and using planograms; retail and reset responsibility experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to build relationships with business partners.
  • Comfortable using technology (smartphones, computers, copiers/fax, handheld devices).
  • Strong demonstration of core competencies:
    Quality Commitment, Detail Oriented, Customer Service, Communication Skills.
  • Effective ability to work accurately with web‑based applications for scheduling, assignment management, time and attendance, and training activities.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions for limited periods of time.
  • Age 21 or older due to travel program requirements.
  • Travel required; overnight stays up to 75‑100% of the time; occasional weekend work may be required.
