Summary Of Position

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests by meeting and exceeding their expectations.

• Welcome and greet guests; make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you will be personally taking care of them; introduce yourself.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned by management.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all food and beverage menus, promotions, and special events within the company.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make changes (if applicable).
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow staff members as situations arise.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a server in a comparable restaurant is preferred.

• Ability to communicate and understand the English language.
• Be willing to serve and entertain guests according to the perceived atmosphere and expectation.
• Have a working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Punctuality and regular, reliable attendance including reliable transportation.
• Honesty and integrity; hardworking.
• Possess good hygiene; coordinated and efficient; multi‑task efficiently; organized, accurate.
• Works in a team environment; works with the public in a calm, courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Serve Safe certified is preferred, but not required.
