Job Summary
Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications. Provides assistance in production planning and ensures proper food quality, portion control, and safety compliance.
Responsibilities- Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets.
- Utilize approved recipes and adhere to production standards and equipment usage.
- Complete production records, including waste tracking, portion usage, and shortages; notify supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintain presentation, quality, portion control, and proper serving temperatures.
- Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area.
- Handle foods items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.
- Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments, keeping display equipment clean and free of debris.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer‑service oriented manner.
- Show ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure food is presented, served and displayed according to standards.
- Follow sanitation and safety principles, ensuring corporate and OSHA standards are met.
- Complete shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior professional baking experience is required.
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Pay range: $14.00–$16.00 per hour.
