Restaurant Assistant Manager – Zaxbys
Join the Zaxbys team as a Restaurant Assistant Manager. You will manage daily operations, ensure guest experiences exceed expectations, and maintain operational standards.
Compensation- Starting at $22.00 / hour
- Training Completion Bonus: $1,000*

- Complete all training requirements, including the Zaxbys Assistant Manager Development Plan, Food Safety Certification, and Manager Certification.
- Enhance guest experiences and ensure team members exceed guest expectations.
- Provide coaching, development, and create effective work schedules; communicate expectations and adjust as needed.
- Supervise, lead, and coach team members to perform at their highest level and achieve quarterly goals.
- Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
- Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager and assist with performance reviews.
- Handle guest and team member complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and Zaxbys policies.
- Keep accurate records, utilize management tools, and ensure correct documentation.
- Maintain safety guidelines; report HR and risk concerns to the General Manager and District Manager.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Open availability with a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week; flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
- 1‑3 years of management experience; restaurant management experience preferred.
- Sit, stand, and walk continuously; occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead.
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing.
- Work in environments with hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food allergens.
- Operate restaurant equipment, including knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment, safely.
