This role is best served by existing skilled, detailed craftspeople that can advance in our processes from their baseline skillset.

The General Production Technician performs work primarily in an air-conditioned composites (carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar) manufacturing facility. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential as the final manufactured components are high-performance, requiring skill and precision to correctly produce on-time and on-budget.

General Production Technicians are responsible for reporting their progress to a production Team Leader. All Technicians must be able to stand on their feet for several hours at a time and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs on very occasionally. A high school diploma is a minimal educational requirement, and prior experience in a crafts field, manufacturing or a related field is highly beneficial.

Industrial certifications are greatly respected. Note, this role is not the same as an electro-mechanical machine maintenance technician role. This role converts raw materials into composite components and assemblies.
