This role involves working in an F-16 Production Hangar as an Avionics Technician. Responsibilities include harness routing, build-up, crimping/terminating, soldering, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, diagnosis, and maintenance of equipment, components, devices, or systems. Work is performed using schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions. The technician operates related equipment, conducts continuity testing, and troubleshoots electrical systems.
Requirements include:
- Harness and wire routing experience
- Ability to pass crimping/soldering training
- Willingness to work 1st shift (6 am - 4:30 pm) or 2nd shift (4:30 pm - 3 am), Monday through Thursday
- Aircraft modification experience
- Routing experience
- Pinning and terminating skills
- Wire routing and schematic reading experience
- Aircraft experience is required; C-130 experience is a plus
Tools are provided; no personal tools required.
