Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Assembler II in Greenville, SC. The Assembler II is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to safely produce quality products, meeting or exceeding productivity goals and operating machinery correctly.

Responsibilities of an Assembler II include:

• Perform the following necessary tasks to produce foam products: assemble, glue, cut, print, fold, press, inflate, seal, label, and pack, consistently meeting or exceeding productivity goals.
• Verify that the product is being made properly and conforms to quality standards.
• Capable of locating and organizing raw materials for production.
• Minimize scrap through proper and careful handling of materials.
• Correctly set up and operate production machinery according to instructions.
• Must be fully cross-trained in 2-3 jobs within the department.
• Understand the operation of production machinery to troubleshoot machine errors.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing procedures and 5S.
• Accurately complete and maintain all necessary paperwork.
• Understand how to print and change labels using UDI.
• Performs the more complex job functions on the production floor.

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequently lifting and carrying
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours in peak season
• Constant stand or walking on concrete floors
