Description
Operations Production Lead, F-16 at Lockheed Martin Greenville site. Interfaces with multiple functional organizations, area supervisors, and assembly crew to resolve issues and constraints in the production environment.
What You Will Be DoingOversee and coordinate aircraft assembly and production activities, providing status updates on work documents and tasks completed within area.
Maintain certifications and qualifications to perform production tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate and support daily and weekly production goals, assess task complexity and skills, assign work, set clear expectations, provide technical guidance, and monitor and adjust performance to meet aircraft production and assembly objectives.
- Ensure adherence to production standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost by enforcing practices such as fall protection, crane operations, hazardous material handling, personal protective equipment (PPE), material handling, chemical control, housekeeping, and tool and FOD controls.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by effectively managing a team, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement through 6S/lean processes.
- Actively engage as a hands‑on leader, maintaining necessary certifications (e.g., Engine Run, Hydrazine Maintenance/Response Team, COMSEC, etc.).

Location:
Greenville, SC. Discover Greenville.
- 6 years experience in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, modification, repair, & overhaul, including at least 2 years of flight line operations.
- 4 years experience performing mechanical or avionics operational checkouts on aircraft.
- Fighter aircraft (F-16, F-35, F-22) or APG experience highly desirable.
- Tactical aircraft flight operations experience.
- Strong critical thinking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership experience; ability to lead a team to meet critical schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and apply their intent.
- Ability to understand aircraft work instructions and technical orders.
- Champion of foreign object debris (FOD) control measures.
Position requires government security clearance. Must be a US citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.

Work Schedules:
Supports variety of alternate schedules. Standard 40 hours over 5‑day week or condensed schedules. Condensed schedules provide additional time away from office and are in addition to PTO.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
