Overview
Mavin Project Managers serve as a guide to our internal team, our clients and our vendors – providing a consistent, customer‑centric experience from concept to completion. They lead the overall development and construction phases for designated projects to ensure that corporate, client and project goals are accomplished on time and within budget parameters. Mavin PMs lead project teams to success by establishing a team environment, setting high standards for performance, empowering team members and inspecting what they expect.

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager
- Familiarity with industry‑specific software related to project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff and BIM
- Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Able to lift 25 lbs

- Respond to Request for Proposals and attend interviews
- Preparation, participation and leadership in meetings with potential clients
- Pricing oversight: preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, project estimating
- Initial project planning with owners
- Design oversight: coordinate and lead design meetings
- Manage costs
- Municipal coordination and permit application

- Review: define scope by site walk‑throughs, scope review and definition materials
- Utilize CMiC to manage projects including initial budget set up, consistent input and submittals
- Develop and manage master project schedule
- Manage site plans and provide consistent updates accordingly
- Contribute to weekly schedules (Superintendents to drive schedule process)
- Lead project kick‑off meeting and Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings
- Oversee subcontractor meetings (led by Superintendent)
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Track status of job materials
- Ensure work is completed at the highest quality
- Manage all project documents (Responsibility may fall to Project Coordinator)
- Request for Information (RFI)
- Potential Change Item (PCI)
- Change Orders (CO)
- Invoice approvals
- Billings
- Cost to Completes
- Issue resolution
- Troubleshoot scheduling issues

- Serve as a guide and leader for internal team, subcontractors, vendors and clients from concept to completion
- Maintain a team‑oriented environment and positively lead through challenges and obstacles
- Drive the overall success of each project and are ultimately accountable for the success or failure of a project
- Maintain positive relationships with past clients leading to additional work or ongoing maintenance
- Add value to others in terms of leadership, mentorship and knowledge transfer to grow the company from within
- Add to the company culture and improve overall organizational health
- Generate approximately $10 million in revenue annually
- Constantly analyze and improve the Mavin Way
