Position: Engineering Technician IV - Day Shift Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Responsibilities- Facilitate implementation of new production equipment, providing design input, training, review and documentation of preventive maintenance procedures, and install and qualification support.
- Initiate design and training improvements of existing equipment, including one right way documents to reduce MTTR.
- Input into failure analysis to determine root causes and develop methods to increase MTBF.
- Support corrective and preventive actions for production equipment.
- Document machine changeovers, write work instructions and SOPs with steps, pictures, and set points/parameters for each size change.
- Quantify non-repeatable adjustments; provide design, wiring, fabrication, installation, and documentation support.
- Create video guidance to supplement changeover work instructions and support digital WI development.
- Provide root cause analysis support for common downtimes and nonconformances.
- Assess current spare parts and identify obsolete inventory; determine critical missing items.
- Identify resources (internal, 3rd party, or OEM) to implement corrective projects to remediate common downtimes and nonconformances.
- Education: Associate’s degree in a maintenance-related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School Diploma/GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
- Preferred Skills: CMMS experience (MP2 preferred); MS Office Applications.
