Our Mechanical Practice Group works with a broad range of clients, from early-stage companies to Fortune 100 corporations, across a variety of industries including automotive, power generation, aerospace, and consumer appliances.

As an IP Attorney, you will help clients secure patent protection and provide strategic intellectual property counsel related to their innovations.

• Partner with the D&M team and in‑house teams to develop and execute thoughtful and effective global IP strategies
• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Draft opinions of counsel
• Conduct due diligence investigations and perform freedom‑to‑operate and landscape analyses

• A degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering with relevant experience in related technologies
• Must be a member of the U.S. patent bar
• Minimum of 2 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience required
