In this challenging role, you will be supporting the LEG-Legal department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Faculty prepares for, implements, and manages students in classroom instruction (traditional, hybrid/blended, and online modalities) using a broad spectrum of methods related to paralegal functions in Business Law I and II;
Legal Bibliography;
Introduction to Law & Ethics;
Legal Writing;
Litigation Applications;
Wills, Trusts, and Probate;
Family Law;
Torts;
Claims Investigation;
Internship;
Civil Litigation I and II;
Workers' Compensation; and Paralegal Certification Preparation. - Performs course development, in hybrid/blended and online modalities.
- Participates in departmental, divisional, and campus committee work.
- Maintains competence through continuous professional development.
- Maintains scheduled office hours and follows guidelines set forth in the faculty manual and college policies.
- Performs other tasks as assigned and as needed with minimal supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSJuris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school and a Bar member in good standing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSJuris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited law school and a South Carolina Bar member in good standing.
• Must have considerable experience in the practice of law and in professional practice with paralegals.
• Extensive computer skills in legal software programs and law office computer applications required.
• Must develop and teach hybrid/blended and online courses. Prior teaching experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills required.
• Leadership and management skills required.
