Data Science Manager, Data Analyst, Data Engineer

The Manager, Analytics Engineering leads a team to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, models, and analytics infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, scalable data assets for business insights and decision-making. Key responsibilities include setting technical vision, enabling product impact, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and upholding best practices in data engineering and governance to support strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. - Oversees the entire lifecycle of data pipelines and models, from design to deployment and maintenance, ensuring data quality, integrity and scalability.
- Defines and executes a strategic roadmap for analytics engineering, including architecture and data modeling patterns.
- Partners with leaders in product, engineering, data science, and business teams to align on priorities and understand data needs.
- Translates complex business needs into effective technical solutions and communicate technical details to various audiences.
- Delivers high-quality data assets and tools that enhance operational efficiency, support product growth and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Establishes and enforces best practices for engineering, testing, documentation, and data governance to maintain quality and compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have two or more direct reports.
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, Mathematics or Business-related degree with an emphasis on quantitative analysis
- Experience - Five (5) years of experience in Financial, Informatics, Quantitative and Statistical analysis
- In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, the following combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered an equivalent substitution: MBA, MHA or Master degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analysis, Medical Informatics, Accounting, Mathematics or Business-related field and three (3) years of experience involving financial analysis or statistics may be considered.

Skills And Abilities
- Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database, data entry)
- Knowledge of data modeling, and cloud platforms
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, and experience with programming languages
- Proficiency with analytic tools such as Snowflake, Sigma, Power
BI, Tableau for visualization. - Communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to guide a team.
