Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records within the payroll system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant.
- Process payroll by efficiently collecting, calculating, and entering data into the payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements by utilizing internal reporting channels.
- Coordinate employment status updates with relevant departments, including Human Resources.
- Generate, review, and distribute reports related to payroll and employee data as needed.
- Conduct audits and queries to verify the accuracy of payroll data and ensure proper documentation.
- Develop and implement user procedures and guidelines to improve payroll operations.
- Communicate with employees regarding leave requests, modified work schedules, and other time-off needs.
- Administer company time-off programs and oversee the return-to-work process for employees after extended leaves.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee medical records and sensitive information in accordance with company policies. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
- Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations.
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now.
- Ability to manage payroll for organizations with over 500 employees.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in payroll processes.
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and departments effectively.
