Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
The Buddy Center is seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team in the Upstate, South Carolina area.
Currently, services are provided in-home, in schools, and in community settings, giving RBTs the opportunity to make meaningful impact where children live, learn, and grow. In April, we will be opening our clinic, expanding opportunities for center-based ABA therapy as well.

RBTs at The Buddy Center provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients while implementing individualized treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA. This role is ideal for individuals who value flexibility, clinical support, and hands-on work with children and families.
Service Settings (Current & Upcoming)- In-home ABA therapy (current priority)
- School-based ABA support
- Community-based ABA services
- Center-based ABA therapy (opening April)
- Implement ABA programs as written by the supervising BCBA
- Provide direct therapy in in-home, school, and community settings
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress
- Support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
- Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and clinical staff
- Maintain ethical standards, professionalism, and client confidentiality
- Active RBT certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Experience in ABA working with children and teens (8 years old and up preferred)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to Greenville, SC & surrounding upstate areas
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach
- Flexible scheduling options (FT, PT, Hourly)
- Strong BCBA supervision and clinical support
- Ongoing training and professional development
- Opportunity to transition into center-based therapy as services expand

Enhanced Pay Opportunity
Enhanced pay is available for RBTs who are willing and qualified to work with higher-intensity cases.
These clients may require more hands-on behavioral support, advanced intervention strategies, and consistent structure across settings. Additional compensation reflects the experience, clinical skill, patience, and professionalism required.
