Psychologist in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Greenville, SC

• Provide psychotherapy and consultation services for young adults and adults with sickle cell disease in both outpatient and inpatient medical settings within hematology/oncology teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings; participate in interdisciplinary rounds as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment modalities with adults and young adults diagnosed with medical conditions and their families.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of pediatric psychology fellows, pediatric residents, child & adolescent psychiatry fellows, and medical students; opportunities for research and program development are available.

• Licensed or license-eligible in the State of SC.
• Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program, with completion of internship and post-doctoral fellowship.
• Experience working with young adults and adults with complex medical conditions, including chronic pain, as part of a multidisciplinary team in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Experience in outpatient and inpatient multi- and/or interdisciplinary teams within a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and relaxation strategies.
