Clinical Director

Basic Requirements

The role of Clinical Director is a supervisory role developed to ensure CCC is providing appropriate support to contract counselors and maintaining high standards of quality in clinical services. As such, the Clinical Director (CD) must have a graduate degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited university. They further shall possess a valid license (LPC, LMFT, LISW-CP) along with a clinical supervisor license (LPCS, LMFTS).

The CD must have at least five years of counseling experience. The expected time commitment is three to four hours per week. The monthly stipend for serving in this role is.

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations (e.g. updating clinical forms, supporting front office staff with referrals, providing opportunities for clinical staffing)
• Organize and cultivate professional development opportunities (e.g. continuing education opportunities, goal setting, etc)
• Provide backup coverage when counselors are out of the office
• Facilitate weekly clinical staffing meetings
• Ensure counselors clinical credentials and liability insurance are up to date
• Provide after hours emergency staffing for counselors
• Prepare for Solihten accreditation process

• Work in partnership with Program Director and Executive Director to recruit new counselors
• Coordinate with Program Director and Director of Ministry Partnership Development to attend mental health related community meetings (e.g. EAP lunch-and-learn)
• Facilitate community partnerships for clinical services and missional efforts

This position is a direct report to the Executive Director.
