About The Job

The Clinical Support Lead is responsible for aiding the clinical team in delivering clinical services and promoting health and wellness. This role organizes the health center(s) patient services workflow, including managing schedules for patients, teammates and providers, and leads day‑to‑day health center operations. This role may also perform the duties of Medical Assistant, LPN or Registered Nurse depending on health center patient needs and individual credentials enabling the teammate to perform those clinical functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensures that the health center(s) has supplies, staff, and resources to allow the effective delivery of patient services and manages the flow of patients and services to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Primary point of communication for distribution of information to medical assistants and other care team members.
  • Onboards, trains and supports team members and is the primary escalation point for clinical non‑provider concerns.
  • Partners with the Regional Operations Manager to order supplies, repair equipment, and maintain the health center to provide an outstanding care environment while remaining within budget.
  • Patient care responsibilities include documenting care in patient records, escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining vitals, completing the intake process, and gathering updates from the patient; partners with provider to identify and address gaps in care.
  • May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and point‑of‑care lab tests.
  • Prepares and administers approved medications and immunizations via oral, topical, inhaled, intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal from provider orders (as permitted by state regulations and credentials).
  • Participates in patient outreach to drive engagement among eligible patients.
  • Provides outstanding experience to patients and families as reflected in NPS surveys.
  • Ensures adherence with all applicable internal and external quality and operational certifications and requirements. Conducts quality review of the Health Center.
  • Assists with process for ensuring temporary coverage needs across the health center.
Qualifications

High school diploma required plus graduation from a formal MA, LPN or RN training program and 2+ years of experience providing clinical care, ideally in primary care. National or state‑specific MA, LPN or RN certification (dependent on local regulations). Must be able to give injections, complete EKGs, and perform other office‑based procedures.

Pay Range

$26.00–32.00 /hr (actual offer may vary depending on geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level).
