Overview
Get to know Thompson! We were founded in 1886 as an orphanage and have grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas and into Florida. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: early childhood, family stability, and mental health. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person.

- As a Case Manager with the Teen Alternative Pathway Pilot (TAPP) program, you will coordinate care for clients assigned to you, including 24/7 crisis response, family mediation, conflict resolution skill building, addressing trauma, making community referrals, discharge planning, communicating with external stakeholders, and managing other aspects of the client’s and family’s needs.
- A typical day as a Case Manager will include crisis stabilization as needed, comprehensive screening and assessment of youth and their families, coordination of in-person and electronic contacts, facilitation of weekly or bi-weekly 60–90-minute in-home sessions with youth and their families, and completion of documentation.
- As a Case Manager, an on-call schedule, evening and weekend work, and flexibility are required.
- Starting Pay Range: $22.11-$23.55 hourly

Minimum
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or relevant field preferred
- 1 year of relevant professional experience
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in
- All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test and an extensive background check
