Physical Therapist - St. Francis Physical Therapy at Furman Sports Medicine

Join the Bon Secours team as a Physical Therapist delivering compassionate care to patients across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and community settings.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist completes initial and ongoing assessments, provides skilled therapeutic interventions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluate patients, gather relevant information, and develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals.
  • Deliver direct therapy following patient care plans and current standards of practice, and instruct patients and families in therapeutic procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and concise records in the electronic medical record and provide timely co‑signatures for supervised assistants.
  • Maintain productivity standards while ensuring quality of care.
  • Adhere to departmental policies regarding safety, infection control, and timecard recording.
  • Supervise physical therapist assistant’s treatment interventions and professional growth.
Required Licensing & Certifications
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice.
  • BLS Basic Life Support required within 30 days.
Experience & Education
  • 2 years of experience in an equivalent setting (preferred).
  • BS in Physical Therapy or equivalent (required).
Skills & Abilities
  • Apply age‑specific standards and guidelines for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Proficient in data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Demonstrate analytical, critical‑thinking, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co‑workers, physicians, patients, and families.
